Since 1993, Abacus is very involved with customers from the retail industry. To help organizations yield data, Abacus identifies the processes and requirements within the relevant organization. On that basis, they bring a strategic consultancy in the field of automation.
After a good and constructive conversation with the customer, Nostromo (Marcel Bootsman) and I came up with a solid plan for a redesign of their current website. Based on this new responsive WordPress theme, we also made a 2nd website to be published for their Master Data Management (MDM) system, Beeyond.
Marcel and I started by making several mockups to let the client know what our intentions were with the visual layout and design of their new website. After approval we started building and designing the WordPress theme from scratch, creating a semantically coded, fast loading, search friendly, fully functional and responsive website.
There is also some built-in flexibility allowing the customer to control the content by making use of widgets (sidebars), Advanced Custom Fields to create Call-to-Action banners and TinyMCE buttons to create tabs, toggles, link buttons, etc. to add to the content of all pages, and/or articles.
A new responsive design, a new menu structure, a fully responsive WordPress theme, a custom designed iconfont and some custom SVG icons makes both WordPress themes 100% future friendly!
